Top Bling 

One of BBC’s (Boom Boom Chicken’s) house cocktails, the Top Bling is a refreshing taste of summer. The team there believe in making their own fruity flavours in cocktails in-house, allowing them to infuse naturally. Located within St Asaph Street’s Little High, their tap cocktail, Gin & Jooze, changes weekly. 

Blackberry syrup 

500g frozen blackberries 

400g sugar 

400ml water 

1 lemon 

1 sprig of rosemary 

Cocktail 

45ml house-made blackberry syrup 

30ml Jawbox rhubarb and ginger gin liqueur 

30ml London dry gin 

45ml cranberry juice 

20ml lemon juice 

To make your own blackberry syrup, boil the sugar and water together. 

When the sugar liquid reaches boiling point, turn off the heat and add frozen berries, cut up lemon and rosemary. 

Leave it to cool down for a couple of hours and strain the mix. 

To make the cocktail, add all the ingredients in the Boston shaker and shake with ice. Strain over a glass of ice. Garnish with blackberries and rosemary.
