I named this Mark V ‘Winston’, after Winston Churchill, like Churchill, the car has that British Bulldog look.

This car was manufactured in England but was first registered in Australia in 1949. It was imported and registered in New Zealand in 1996. It was fully restored from then up until 2002. This is my favourite car. Winston is a classic 1949 Jaguar Mark V, one of the most impressive saloon cars built in the first years after WWII. It has outstanding classic lines and is magnificent in metallic beige and bronze tones, with white-wall tyres. With sumptuous red leather upholstery and walnut panelling, it exhibits colour, class, and style. With its powerful 3.5 litre 6 cylinder motor, it is fast and very comfortable to ride in and drive.

My business, All Black Classic Cars, specialises in classic car hire. With drivers for weddings, birthdays, school formals, elder person excursions, and tours in Christchurch and throughout Canterbury. I also have a 1937 Rolls Royce 25/30 limousine, a 949 Jaguar Mark V, a 1953 Jaguar Mark VII, and a 1996 Jaguar XK8 convertible.
